Are you the student who stares at the test as though it is written in hieroglyphics? Are your palms so sweaty that you can't grasp the number two pencil? Maybe you feel at any moment you're going to pass out, or worse, throw up on the student sitting in front of you.

The Study Skills and Reading Center staff can offer suggestions for students who suffer the high anxiety of exam week. Our tutors are available to discuss relaxation techniques and test preparation strategies. A better understanding of your attitude toward testing can help you overcome the stress.

Or maybe you feel prepared for tests but still get disappointing scores? A test review can uncover testing flaws, like misunderstanding the question or changing correct answers to incorrect ones.

It's not too late to get help. Call 745-5730 or stop by the Study Skills and Reading Center in Muntz 122K. At the very least, we can offer a mint candy to calm your shattered nerves.
